These loadstones are such a cool idea and the mini version is perfect for those small consoles that collect all of the changed up lures and jigs. The floating hooks around the boat needed a remedy and the loadstone is the way. Also works well to hold a phone put on the fly!
My wife got me the Magnum Loadstone for Christmas and I have to say, it's become an absolute game-changer for my fishing trips. The magnets are strong enough to keep my flies secure, but they’re easy to grab when I need one. No more digging through messy boxes or worrying about flies getting crushed or tangled. It’s compact, sturdy, and my flies attach securely to it even while running from spot to spot. Plus, I love how much quicker I can switch out flies when I’m out on the water. I have one or more on all five of my charter and drift boats. They are a great tool to keep you more organized and keep items in close reach.
I can rig some extra snapper rigs and have them ready to go when I get broke off. Just hang the hooks on the Loadstone.
I got my Magnum Loadstone a few weeks ago and can’t believe how unorganized I was before I had it. It is a game changer. Before each charter I set my pliers, braid scissors and a handful of hooks on it where they stay perfectly secure. I know where they are at all times. No more scrambling looking for my pliers when I need to unhook a fish, no more hooks stuck in a cup holder getting rusty. Simply said, a game changer!
Pre-ordered the magnum and it was delayed. Due to the delay, BDO sent me a free hat and additional loadstone. As an avid fisherman that orders everything online and gets hit w/ delays probably 33% of the time…nobody comes through like this in 2024.
